Nexage, that has developed a mobile television platform, has received an undisclosed sum from John Ostrem, the founder of China MobileSoft, according to an article in the Seattle Post– Intelligencer.
Currently based in Bellevue, Wash., Nexage will move to San Francisco. Devkumar Gandhi, the founder of Nexage, says in the article, “With this investment we will be able to expand our engineering team and build the infrastructure for our hosted mobile TV platform, allowing us to deploy customers in the pipeline.
“We will also be focusing on the Web 2.0 companies, who are among our target customer segment, becoming their mobile video delivery platform of choice.”
