Spain's leading pay television operator, Sogecable, will provide ten channels to Vodafone in Spain for mobile television, according to Reuters.
The brief article says, "After an introductory offer period, phone users will be charged six euros ($7.88) a month for channels providing news, documentaries and drama."
Spanish cellular operator Telefonica is Vodafone's main competitor and Sogecable's major stockholder, Reuters reports. "But Spanish rules restrict Sogecable's cooperation with Telefonica," the article says.
