    I have been analyzing wireless communications for 31 years. I am president of Wireless Internet & Mobile Computing, a pioneering consulting firm that helps create new and enhance existing wireless data businesses in the United States and abroad.

    I write a weekly column for www.InternetEvolution.com about the wireless and wired Internet as well as writing a mobile blog and producing videos.

    Previously, I created the world's first wireless data newsletter, wireless data conference, cellular conference and FM radio subcarrier newsletter. I was instrumental in creating and developing the world's first cellular magazine.

    I also helped create and run the first association in the U.S. for the paging and mobile telephone industries.

    Useful DVB-H information: Nokia's Mobile TV Forum newsletter

    If you’re interested in the mobile television industry and don’t read Nokia’s Mobile TV Forum newsletter (see below), you might want to consider doing so.

    Nokia Mobile TV Forum - October 2007 newsletter

    Although the newsletter promotes the DVB-H protocol, it has lots of useful information about commercial launches, tests, products, etc.  The most recent issue, October, includes articles about DVB-H in Taiwan, a mobile TV roadmap for France, mobile TV awards at the Mipcom television conference and the Nokia Video Center offerings for Nseries cellular phone users.

    No, I don’t have any affiliation with Nokia’s Mobile TV Forum or promote one mobile TV protocol over another.  It’s just worthwhile to read the newsletter.
